Privacy Policy

No accounts, no tracking

Rallyd does not require you to create an account. Your identity within a session is anonymous and link-based — it lives in your browser's local storage, keyed to the session you joined. We do not store passwords, email addresses, or any persistent profile data.

What we collect

When you use Rallyd, the following data is stored in our database:

• Display names you enter (your name, the organizer's name)
• Session and occasion names you create
• Vibe and area text you type into the plan form
• Your availability selections and venue votes

None of this is linked to a verified identity. Anyone with the session link can see the session data — treat it accordingly.

AI venue suggestions

When the organizer requests venue ideas, the vibe and area text from the plan form is sent to OpenRouter — a third-party AI routing service — to generate suggestions. Only the vibe and area fields are transmitted; no names, votes, or availability data leave our servers for this purpose.

OpenRouter's own privacy policy governs how they handle inference requests. We do not use this data for advertising or model training on our end.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the product is used and how fast it loads. These tools collect anonymised usage and performance data — page views, load times, and similar signals. They do not set tracking cookies or build cross-site profiles.

No advertising, no cross-app tracking

We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising networks. We do not track you across other apps or websites. Rallyd is a coordination tool, not an ad platform.

Data retention

We keep a plan's data only as long as it's useful. Inactive plans become eligible to be cleared roughly 90 days after they're created, and we purge eligible sessions periodically. When a plan is deleted, everything attached to it — participants, availability, venue ideas, and votes — is removed too.

Delete on demand

The organizer (the person who created a plan) can delete it at any time from the plan's Plan tab — “Delete plan” wipes the session and all of its data immediately and permanently.

If you took part in a plan you didn't create and want its data removed, ask the organizer to delete it, or email us at feedback@getrallyd.com with the plan link and we'll remove it. This covers access/deletion requests under GDPR and CCPA; because plans are anonymous and link-based, the link is how we locate your data.

Younger users

Rallyd isn't directed to children. You must be old enough to consent to data processing where you live (at least 13, and 16 in parts of the EU) to use it. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13 — if you believe a child has, email feedback@getrallyd.com and we'll delete it.
